Extensive Testing
InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. This lock has a shear strength of 42,000 lbs
Installation
The short pin included with this set is used as a hitch lock to secure your B&W Tow & Stow 21K adjustable ball mount to your 3" hitch. 2 Long pins are used to secure your ball mount platform to the ball mount. The additional long pin is used to secure your ball to your ball mount platform.

Keyed alike.I just wanted to Thank etrailer and especially Dena who helped me return my wrong sized locking pins for the ones that actually fit, Even though it was beyond the period to return these items Dena took care of me as I ordered the correct pins and got full credit for the ones that didn't work. Thank You Again!!! I will definitely be shopping here again.
