Fold-Up Jack Foot Extension

Husky Brute Super Foot in travel mode and in use

With the Brute Super Foot, you can save yourself the trouble of hunting for blocks every time you unhitch your trailer. By adding 7" of length to your jack, you'll also minimize the amount of hand cranking required to level your trailer.

With a weight capacity of 6,500 lbs, it's heavy duty enough to support both your trailer tongue and the back of your tow vehicle so that you can more easily hook up a weight distribution system.

This jack foot can be used with both manual and electric jacks, and it folds away easily when it's time to get back on the road.

Husky Brute Super Foot Cam Lever

Folding the Super Foot into its travel position is simple. Just rotate the cam lever in either direction to release the foot. After you raise it up, you'll know it's secure when the cam lock snaps into place.

Ever find yourself needing to drop your trailer in a low-clearance situation - like when the tongue is on the uphill side of a slope? There's no reason to completely remove the Brute Super Foot. It can bear the weight of your trailer even when the foot is in a folded-up position.

If your trailer has a spare tire mounted under the A-frame that doesn't allow the jack foot to be folded up, you can use a 3/8" linchpin or snapper pin (sold separately) instead of a bolt to install the Super Foot's extension leg. Then instead of folding the jack up, you can pull the pin and remove the leg for travel.

Installing the Brute Super Foot

With most trailers, installing the Brute Super Foot is a simple, no-drill process. However, you may need to drill holes in your trailer jack if there are no holes or if the existing holes are too small. The Super Foot includes the hardware needed to bolt it onto your trailer jack.

Husky Brute Super Foot Jack and Reducer Bushing Dimensions

If your jack's inner tube is less than 2" in diameter, you'll need to use the reducer bushing that comes with the Super Foot. Just slide the bushing over the jack's inner tube and line up the holes before attaching the Super Foot.

Video Transcript for Husky Trailer Jack HT31610 Review

Today we're going to review part number HT31610. This is the Husky Brute Super Foot Fold Up Jack, has a 6500 pound weight capacity. Now when you receive this box it will contain all these parts shown here, separately. I'm going to show you how this pretty much assembles. It's pretty simple. This head part right here, this is where the trailer jack that you have on your trailer, the bottom of it. The inner tube would slide into here and bolt into place right here. Basically we would take this head and then this would go right on top of the extension and then you'd take one of these bolts with the self locking knots on it, slide it through the hole and go ahead and you would tighten that down all the way. Then what you would do is take this extension and you'll have this large footplate, this would bolt right into the footplate using this linge pin and the linge pin is used because it makes is easy to remove by chance if you didn't want to use this footplate, if you wanted to like put a trailer wheel or a jack wheel on here, you can do that also, just take the pin out, take the footplate off and put a trailer jack wheel on there, we do sell those separately also.

And then basically when you slide this up on to the inner tube of your trailer jack right here, you align the hole up with the hole on your jack. Now this will work on manual jacks and power jacks, so what you'll need to do is the instructions will tell you how to figure out which hole to use to bolt on to the jack you're using it on, so you just take the other bolt in the self locking knot. Once you find out the right hole to use then you run this through and it bolts it on to your jack, so that's how it's all ready to go pretty simple. Now this extra piece right here, this is a reducing sleeve and what this reducing sleeve does is there are some trailer jacks out there that have a inner tube that is smaller than 2 inches, so you would need to use the sleeve up in this head to reduce the size since it's going in a smaller than 2 inch inner tube on your trailer jack. What you would do is take this reducing sleeve, you'll see the holes. The top of this would be where the holes are closest to and then you'll see the holes here, closest here so you just line the top of this reducing sleeve up with the holes. And then again once you just find out which hole to use on your jack, you just run the bolt through and then tighten it down and then you'll see that it reduces the measurement in there to fit those jacks that trailer jacks it will have a smaller than 2 inch inner tube on them. So now with it like this, you're all ready to go. This is a very easy to use heavy duty trailer jack foot which will provide additional height for clearance.

You don't have to worry about using any wooden blocks or bricks to position your trailer and it does minimize the amount of cranking that is required and it will also lt you easily hook up the spring bars of your weight distribution system. Now this jack will fold up quickly for travel with the spring loaded lever release right over here. Basically, if you just pull out on this, it will release that head and you can fold this up and you'll see when you get to the correct height, it will just pin will slide through and lock it up in the up position. And then you want to release it, if you just pull out on this and then you'll see it'll fold down and then you'll see it will lock into a hole and lock it into the down position. Now this can be used on unlevel surfaces, that is no problem. This large foot can even be used if there's 10 degrees variants, if the lands not level, theres a 10 degree variants that would still work fine on that. Now this large footplate ensures stability and security and as I mentioned, this footplate can be easily removed if you want to use a wheel in there. The finish on this is a nice powder coat finish which is durable and corrosion resistant.

It's a very simple bolt on installation like I was just mentioning, comes with all the hardware I showed you. Now the application on this, this is for round jacks with an outer tube of either 2 inches or 2 1/4 inches. Has a weight capacity of 6500 pounds. The extension, it does extend it out 7 inches, right to there and the footplate dimensions, they are 7-3/8 inches long and the width on the footplate is 3-7/8 inches wide. The weight total all put together is about 10 pounds and again just to show you how that would work if you pull out on your spring lever right there, here we go. Let's just pull out on it and and then as you fold this up, you can see theres a lock into the fold up position and then when you go to release it, this would be on your jack, if you want to fold it down, you can see there's a lock in the fold down position.

Very simple to use. But that should do it for the review on part number HT31610. The Husky Brute Super Foot Fold Up Jack, with the 6500 pound weight capacity.

The product appears to be solid and well built. I have not yet had time to try it out. I will try it out soon, and I would be happy to give my evaluation after I have used it. I believe I will enjoy not having to take the jack foot off every time I depart from a campsite. I also believe that I will enjoy the extra extension the jack plate allows in putting on my sway bars for they can be a challenge in getting the proper height and clearance. 253586

Installation of these products was super easy. My tow vehicle is a Ram 3500 and is pretty high so having the Brute Super Foot, HT31610, is going to save me carrying around several blocks and boards. I also ordered the Super Brute Electric Jack w Remote, HT82022. It was very easy to install and love the remote. I would recommend these products. I would also recommend and will use again. Thank You for the prompt shipping and followup. 415351

Have just installed this with a new jack and so far I like the quickness of dropping the leg and having just a short crank to finish the lift. 305151

Still solid. You need to make sure it locks in position when you it but that is just good practice anyway.

Great product worked great easy to use no longer had to carry wood blocks 264833

The device works very well. It has proven to be a great time saver. There are a few minor issues though.. 1. The paint is not UV stable. Starts out a very nice red but turns pink fairly quickly. 2. It will drop down during transport if you don't make sure it's completely latched ( my fault). 3. The trailer wheels must be securely chocked as there is a lot of wiggle in the down position. All in all I like it very much. The problems listed with the exception of the paint are user correctable. I would definitely recommend this device. 250850
