  • 7-Pole To 4-Pole Trailer Connector Adapter To Flat Tow 1997 Suzuki Sidekick
From your photos you have a 7-blade connector on the RexAir and a 4 pin round connector on the 1997 Suzuki Sidekick. The blue wire in your photos is a 4 pin to 4 pin connector which will not work to connect the RV and the Suzuki. All you need is a 7-pole to 4-pole adapter part # HM47043 to connect the RV to the Suzuki.

  • Coiled 7-Way to 4-Way Round Adapter Recommendation
Sounds like you are looking for the Hopkins Endurance Flex-Coil part # HM47043 which will plug a 7-way blade to a 4-way round connector. Or if you need the 4-way round socket as well you'd need the part # HM47044.

  • Availability of 8 Foot Flat Towing Umbilical with 7-Way on One End and 4-Pole Flat on the Other
There's not an available 7-way to 4-pole flat umbilical like what you're looking for, but I do have some easy solutions for you. The Hopkins Nite-Glow 7-way to 5-way flat coiled adapter, part # HM47025 will work with either a 4-pole or a 5-pole trailer connector. It would plug right into the connector at the front of the towed vehicle provided by the Hopkins Towed Vehicle Wiring Harness you referenced, part # HM56302. If the unused socket bothered you, you could cover it with a small piece...

  • Parts Needed to Flat Tow 2006 Jeep Grand-Cherokee Behind RV
Safe and legal flat towing of a vehicle behind a RV requires a number of components. A tow bar, safety cables, a wiring/lighting kit, base plates and a braking system for the towed car are essential items; a high/low hitch adapter and wiring extension are also often required. The linked article covers each of these in detail and this is a great place to start getting familiar with the requirements. For base plates I recommend the Blue Ox # BX1123 which will fit your Grand Cherokee as long...

  • Towed Vehicle Wiring and Wiring Extension Recommendation for 2013 Honda CR-V
The tow bar wiring I recommend for your 2013 Honda CR-V is the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM56304. This is a custom-fit wiring harness that will plug into your vehicle wiring behind the taillights. I recommend this kit because of the ease of installation and the fact that the harness will prevent electrical feedback to protect your CR-V's electrical system. I have attached an installation video of this wiring harness on a similar vehicle as yours. You are...

  • Availability of Tow Bar Umbilical Style Adapter to Go From 4-Way Flat to 7-Way Blade
Yes, for a tow bar umbilical extension adapter to go between the 4-way flat of the part # HM56304 and a 7-way socket you'd want the Wesbar adapter part # 787196. This has a 5-way flat on one end and a 7-way blade connector on other. The difference between a 5-way and a 4-way is just the extra pin on the outside of the connector. This pin would simply be left off when used with a 4-way. I attached a link to a video for this adapter that shows it in use for you to check out as well.

  • Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2017 GMC Yukon SLT with Blue Ox Base Plate Kit
Yes, you can use the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1718 to flat tow your 2017 GMC Yukon SLT 4WD as long as it has the Adaptive Cruise Control. If you don't have the Adaptive Cruise Control then you'll use the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1716 instead. For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. I recommend using the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar # BX7380 because it...

  • Does the Blue Ox Tail Light Wiring Kit with Block Diode # BX8811 Come With a 4-Way Connector
The Blue Ox Tail Light Wiring Kit with Block Diode # BX8811 that you referenced does not come with a 4-Way connector as you stated. To add a 4-Way connector you can simply use the Hopkins Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # HM38138 and connect it to your current wiring using Butt Connectors # DW05744-5. For a look that is a little more clean and will provide you with a 7-Way to connect to your RV you can use the Hopkins Nite-Glow Tow Bar Extension Cord w/ Socket - Coiled...

  • Availability of Coiled 4-Way to 7-Way Cable for Flat Towing
Just the coiled cable from the Roadmaster Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15247 is found as part # RM-164-7 on our site. Pretty much all of the "cable only" kits come with the socket and bracket for the towed vehicle side like what you see with this kit. For something a little more cost-effective I recommend going with the Hopkins Nite-Glow # HM47044 instead. This is the exact same thing just from Hopkins instead of Roadmaster. Hopkins is one of the leading wiring manufacturers on the market...

  • Wiring Harness to Flat Tow a 2015 Ford F-150 EcoBoost Behind a Motor Home
Hopkins shows tail light wiring kit for towed vehicles # HM56009 as the correct option for your 2015 Ford F-150 EcoBoost. There isn't any other plug and play type of harness available for your F-150. I have included a link to a video review of this harness for you. There is a 4-Way flat on the end and since most RVs have a 7-Way connector you could use kit # HM47044 and replace the 4-Way flat with the included 4-Way round.

  • Recommended 4-Way Connection Between Towed Vehicle and Motorhome
The only real advantage of the 4 round over the 4 flat trailer connector is the clean look of the connection point and the protection from elements when not in use. For instance the Pollak Heavy-Duty, 4-Pole, Round Pin Socket, Concealed Terminals - Chrome - Vehicle End # PK11410 has a clean finished look on the front of a towed vehicle and will protect the connection from dirt and debris with the spring loaded cover. Many people like the connection between the motorhome using a harness...

  • Hopkins Nite-Glow Tow Bar Extension Cord w/ Socket Recommendation for RV Towing Vehicle
Sounds like your dinghy vehicle is getting corrosion in it's tow bar lighting connector from driving the vehicle in inclement weather. If you wanted to go with the kit part # HM47044 that would be a great solution to give you a new umbilical from the tow vehicle to the dinghy and a new 4-way for the dinghy as well. If you can I would try to mount the 4-way out of the direct path of possible rain or spray from other vehicles.
