Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Goal Zero female EC8 to ring terminal cable. This is going to allow you to connect your Goal Zero Yeti Link Expansion Module to a 12-volt lead acid battery, so you can increase the capacity of your Yeti Power Station. This will include this 80-amp fuse to help prevent overcurrent issues. They're also going to include this EC8 cable clamp that will ensure that our cables are securely connected.
When we have the two put together, we can easily put that in, and it'll close over the top like so. Our cord length here is right about 27 inches long, just a little over two feet. Our wire is an eight-gauge wire, so it is gonna do a good job of allowing that current to flow through. Now, this is gonna be great for a single 12-volt battery. If you are going to be using more than one battery, you will need to get a male EC8 to ring terminal to accommodate that extra battery.
But if you're just using the one, you'll put the black and green wire on the negative side of the battery, and then the red will go onto the positive. And using those ring terminals there should be very easy to get connected to those posts on your battery. Then of course, you'll plug the female EC8 into your Yeti system so that that power can flow through there. So that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.
Thanks for watching..
