Spade to SAE Cable for Goal Zero 10 Amp and 20 Amp Solar Charge Controllers

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Goal Zero spade to SAE cable for your Goal Zero solar charge controllers. This is going to either, replace the original spade to SAE cable that came with your kit, or if you're building your own kit this will work to connect the SAE cable that connects to your battery to your charge controller here. So this is going to work with either the ring terminals or the alligator clamps. Those are both sold separately but both are going to just plug right in to that SAE connector, connect to your battery either those alligator clamps or connect to the posts on your battery with those ring terminals. So that SAE fitting is going to be very easy, to then connect to your battery.

And then the other end is going to connect to your gold zero 10 amp or 20 amp solar charge controller. I've got the 20 amp controller here, so you can kind of see how this is going to connect there on the bottom. You're gonna have your slot for your solar panel input there, and then this other set is gonna be for connecting to your battery. So that's where your spade connectors are going to screw down in place to give you that nice firm connection on the bottom there, but you can see we do have a positive and negative symbol on these, might be kind of hard for you to see with the light there, but it is going to indicate so that we can make sure that we're matching that up with the correct posts on our solar controller. This is gonna be a 15 foot long cord.

So I'll give you quite a bit of reach to connect your battery to your solar controller. This does have a 12 gauge wire so it's gonna do a good job of allowing that power to flow through, so that you can get your battery charged up using your solar panel.
