My new key arrived yesterday. I picked it up today. Got back to my rv and tried it out immediately! Works great! etrailer is my go-to place for a lot of stuff!
Key was cut wrong and it will not work in my door locks
you had a replacement lock assembly for My Heartland Fuel when they couldn't even get me on . I think it was because it was supposed to be on warenty I had to pay for it but waiting on heartland would have been weeks and weeks. thank you etrailer!
Fantastic! From my initial finding of the website to the prompt follow-up to my email question. The product was shipped immediately and the spare keys work better than the original keys that came with the camper! Loved the follow-up email that came within minutes of us receiving the keys! This will be my “ go to” company for my future needs. I will definitely spread the word to my camping friends!
The new latch took a little bit of modification to the door, some minor cutting to the fiberglass and some minor cutaway to the foam in the door but it was well worth it. The latch system works very easy in comparison to the old latch system, you barely have to pull on the latch to open the door and it closes very easily also. The old latch you would have to bang on the door as you pull the latch just to get it open. I installed it over a year ago and it's still just as easy to open as the day I installed it. The only minor problem is the footprint doesn't match so the paint is faded where the old latch used to cover and the new one doesn't. I'll take that over a latch that doesn't work any day.
So grateful to etrailer, we are out of state and broke our RV key. Tried many RV parts stores and dealers, nobody could help. Trailer sent the part to our next destination and we were back in business!
