Extremely quick shipping and product does come with or without the ball and shank so that was a great option for me as I did not need the ball and shank making it affordable and not having an extra equipment laying around. Really nice videos to support the product assisted in my purchase, keep up the superior product knowledge and support videos.

Been great having this! I habe y winch at the top slot and my car hauler at the bottom slot. Very stout and sturdy. A good investment.

Great service and followup. Wish other vendors were as good as you.

  • Can Either Receiver be Used for 10K Towing Capacity of Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter
If you're wanting to use the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-2 for towing a tow dolly then yes, either receiver can be used. If you're talking about towing a trailer then we need to find you a different adapter because these are only designed for flat tow situations. An alternative solution is to use the Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-404 instead. This is a much more rugged option designed for towing as it has a tow weight rating of 10,000 lbs...

  • Can 2" Receiver Adapter Be Added to 1-1/4" Hitch on a 2008 Smart fortwo
To convert the 1-1/4" receiver opening on the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11020 for your 2008 Smart fortwo to a 2" receiver you can use the Trailer Hitch Adapter # e93YR. With that being said, any adapter will reduce the weight rating of your hitch by 50% so if you were to use this it would reduce the tongue weight of the hitch to 100 lbs. Not only that, but since your Smart car has a really short wheelbase the further back you place weight the more impact it will have to the performance...

  • Can Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount Be Used with Any 2" Receiver to Tow Trailer and Mount Accessory
Yes, the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # 325-GH-414 can be used with any standard 2" ball mount or trailer hitch receiver, such as what your SUV is already equipped with. For just the receiver portion of this unit without the hitch balls you can use part # 325-GH-404. This will allow you to use your existing ball mount on the bottom receiver and your hitch-mounted accessory on the top receiver. I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well. When using the adapter...

  • Recommended Hitch Reducer from 2-1/2 Inch Hitch to 2 Inch with 5 or 6 Inch Drop for 2016 Ram 2500
A high-low adapter like the Roadmaster High Low Adapter for Tow Bars - 2-1/2" Hitches - 4" Rise/Drop - 10K GTW # RM-058-4 is designed for use when flat towing which is pulling a vehicle behind a motorhome. The reason an adapter is needed is because tow bars that connect the vehicles need to be within 3 inches of level for safety. I've attached an article to assist. It sounds like you are looking for something for the back of your truck that allows for a drop for towing or accessories....

  • Is the MaxxTow Ball Mount With 2 Inch Accessory Receiver Offered With More Drop
I do have an option for you but the MaxxTow Ball Mount w/ 2" Accessory Receiver part # MT70066 is not offered with a 6" drop. The only option we have that would allow you to mount a hitch ball that far below the receiver tube and then place a hitch mounted accessory above this would be with the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers part # 325-GH-404 for 5" drop or part # 325-GH-504 for 7-1/2" drop. If you placed the 2-Ball Mount part # 325-GH-031 in the bottom receiver tube...

  • High-Low Adapter Needed for Flat Towing a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara
Since you can use different brand high-low adapters with any tow bar we actually have flat towing high-low adapters that will work for your situation. Unfortunately none of our dual adapters have the weight capacity to accomplish this. Attached is a link to our selection of high-low adapters that you can filter through. These range from a 2" rise/drop # RM-072-2 all the way to a 10-1/4" rise/drop # RM-048-10. If you're looking for an option with about a 7" drop like what the Malone # RM-048-10...

  • Recommended Adapter or Shank for Carrier to Increase Ground Clearance with 325 lb Scooter & Carrier
The Malone Dual Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches # MPG544 because it is an adapter will allow up to 400 lbs tongue weight total which could allow the scooter carrier and scooter of 325 lbs combined. The issue is that your hitch would need to be rated for 650 lbs tongue weight for that to work with this adapter because it reduces your hitch tongue weight by 50%. According to your owner's manual you would need the Lambda II 3.3 for that application. This can work with the

  • Can You Carry a Moped While Towing a Car on a Dolly Behind a RV Motorhome?
We do have the Gen-Y Shank # 325-GH-404 which will allow you to carry the etrailer Aluminum Motorcycle Carrier # e56UR while also towing your car on a tow dolly. The shank has four 2" receivers allowing you to place the motorcycle carrier above the ball mount for the tow dolly. Do be sure to verify all your weights to ensure you do not exceed the maximum tongue weight rating on your RV Motorhome. The ball mount weighs 24lbs and the carrier is 47lbs. You will need to also include the weight...

  • Hitch Adapter and Bike Rack Recommendation for E-Bike and Flat Towing
To replace your Roadmaster High-Low Adapter # RM-048-8 I recommend using this replacement shank from Gen-Y: - Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-404 I like this option because it's more heavy-duty than pretty much every other adapter, plus it has a receiver above the shank so your bike rack will be at a higher location for better clearance. Then for a bike rack I recommend using the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR and then using the Swagman Ramp and Bridge # S32YR to...

  • Recommendation For How To Tow Hitch Rack For Electric Bikes And Boat Trailer At Same Time
Based on your information, I recommend the Gen-Y 2 Inch Adjustable Receiver For 2 Inch Hitches, Item # 325-GH-404. This heavy duty adjustable receiver hitch has a 10,000-lbs total weight capacity and a total tongue weight capacity of 1,500-lbs. It can be used in a 5 inch rise or drop position depending on your needs. You can use one of the top positions for a bike rack and one of the lower positions to tow your boat trailer. If you need a bike rack, I recommend the Thule EasyFold...

  • Can E-Bikes Be Carried On Back of Flat-Towed Vehicle with 1-1/4" Hitch
I do have an option for you but that would be an enormous task and I am not aware of any such bike rack suited for the job. Instead, I recommend using the Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mounts part # 325-GH-404 as this will allow you to place a bike rack in the top slot and then the tow bar is one of the lower slots so you can carry a bike rack and flat-tow a vehicle. For a bike rack, I recommend the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack part # HLY64FR.
