Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at this Gen-Y Rebel replacement ball platform. So this is going to be an exact replacement from Gen-Y for the ball platform for their Rebel series adjustable ball mounts. This will make sure that your hitch ball will attach to your ball mount. This does have a 7,000 lbs gross towing weight, so it will meet your hitch ball mount requirements. You do want to make sure that of course, with any towing setup, that you're going off the lowest number of any of your equipment.

So you're only as strong as your weakest link, but this is going to do a good job of sliding right into a two inch by two inch receiver tube on either your adjustable ball mount or it could be just slid right into your two-inch hitch receiver on your vehicle. So either way will work for you. It does not come with the hitch ball. It does have a one-inch opening here. So any hitch ball with a one-inch diameter shank will attach very easily for you so that you can get hooked up to your trailer.

See just like the original, this will have a nice snug fit with that one-inch diameter hitch ball there. This does have the same sturdy steel construction as the original and the black powder coat finish to help resist rust and corrosion.
