Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement charcoal filter for your Furrion 12 volt range hoods. This is going to replace the original charcoal filter that came with your Furrion range hood. It is an exact replacement from Furrion, so you can trust that it's going to work. You're not going to have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. Obviously the charcoal filter is going to help eliminate the odors from burnt food and smoke, different things like that.
Now these are washable or cleanable, so if you haven't already, before you take the step of finding a replacement, just go ahead and clean your original, see if that makes the smells dissipate faster. But if you are getting to the point where cleaning it's no longer helping, you need a replacement, this is going to be the replacement for you.As I said, it is a direct replacement. So you can trust it's going to work for you, but just for the sake of extra peace of mind, you're going to measure it here, and it looks like it's right about 10 and a quarter of an inch wide in the orientation that I have it there, and right about . I'm going to call it about 10 and an eight of an inch in that orientation. This does come with both the charcoal filter and the wire mesh to hold it in place.
And it's very easy to replace this. If you haven't already, there is just a dropdown tab on your range hood that you can remove the original filter and put this in its place. So definitely a very simple process to get this installed. That's going to complete our look for today. So if you are needing a new charcoal filter for your Furrion, this is going to be the piece that you need.

Replaces the charcoal filter for your Furrion 12V range hood.This filter was exactly what I needed. I had previously had the filter part only and it got stuck in the fan and ripped. So by having both the lightweight metal grate and the charcoal filter it works perfectly now. Everything was as described and shipped on time. I highly recommend etrailer for all RV related products.

Unfortunately the individual who packed the filter decided to "FOLD" it in half to fit in a small box instead of using a larger container. Since the filter frame is metal I now have a permanent crease in the filter. The filter will not lay flat anymore. Fortunately, I kept the old filter and used the frame from it. I now have a filter with very expensive piece of foam..$30+. A little common sense would have gone a long way.

The charcoal foam was torn in the corner, but since it is covered by this new screen, it is protected from the fan. Our original foam got caught in the fan, tearing it. I suppose this explains the new screen. We'll see how it works. Considering the simplicity of these 2 items, plus shipping way overpriced. But, I couldn't come up with an alternative.
As advertised
Item was shipped sort of crumpled up in a rectangular box instead of flat in a padded envelope for example. No harm, no foul since I just flattened it out upon receipt. and installed it in the exhaust hood no problem.
I was surprised it was folded, but should straighten out for instalation. Just arrived today so will install it when I go to the trailer tonight.

Came packaged in box, filter was fine, metal screen a little bumped up. Able to smooth out, though. Filter and screen were easy to slip into place. Shipping was fast and painless. Thank you!
