Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this antenna mount for the Front Runner Slimline II platform racks. This easy to mount bracket is going to make it simple to install your antenna on your Front Runner Slimline II platform rack. You're just going to position on a top or side channel of that rack. The dual mounting points are going to reduce vibration and help prevent damage to your antenna. And the key hole slot side guards are going to protect the aerial connection at its base.
Now, I have loosely assembled this just to kind of give you an idea of what this looks like when this is put together. And this'll kind of give you an idea of what this is going to look like when it's actually mounted to your platform rack. And another thing I wanted to point out is this bracket will tilt and lock in place at seven different angles rather. And so there's a knob here that you're going to pull and that's going to allow this to rotate and then lock into place. So as you can see behind there on that bracket there are going to be those different positions that this is going to lock into.
It might be kind of hard to see from that angle but you're just going to pull this knob and then that's going to allow you to position it in whatever way you want. And then it's going to hold there too, which is very nice. So I think I have that at the highest angle on that position. And then you can turn this rotate this all the way down to that position. So you're going to get angles from 0 degrees all the way to 180 degrees.
So this is going to be very flexible for you. So again, pull that knob and it just locks into the next hole there by itself. And I'll just make it level there again. Now this includes the bolt on steel plate to accommodate your magnetic mount. And what's nice about this is if you have an antenna but it doesn't have a magnetic mount you could slide it if it's compatible with this you could slide it into this channel and then bolt it down into this channel.
Or if it is a magnetic mount, I'm a CB user in my car so this would be something that would be beneficial for me. I've got a magnetic mount antenna on my car and so I could put my CB antenna right on here. And then you would just bolt this up with the hardware here to tighten this down so that this magnetic plate won't go anywhere. And then you can just put your antenna on there and you'll be good to go. So you do have the option again for your magnetic mount or if you have an antenna that will secure into this slot or this channel, that's an option for you as well. This does feature a black powder coating on this steel. This is all constructed of steel to help resist that corrosion. And again, this is going to work with your Front Runner Slimline II platform rack. And you're gonna receive this one bracket with all of the hardware. And just some overall dimensions that I took earlier. Measuring the overall length from this end to this end, we're sitting at almost six inches long. It's about five and seven eighths inches long. And then the overall width, we're pretty close to about four and a half inches wide from end to end at the widest point there. And then the overall height we're sitting at about three inches tall. So that gives you an idea of the size of this. Instructions are included to walk you through the relatively simple installation process. And that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
