Keep your safety chains from dragging while you tow with the Chain-Up. Just run the chains through the slots and stow the holder on your trailer. During hookup, slip the holder over the hitch ball to keep the chains up and off the ground.

These things are absolutely the best!!
A very simple and brilliant design that does what it sets out to do perfectly. Once you get your safety chains arranged, that's it. Once less thing to do every time you go.
The one drawback is they don't last a long long time. However, I live in Florida and nothing plastic or rubber or polyethylene lasts a long long time in our brutal relentless sun and heat.
I ordered extra this time and plan to double them up -- maybe that will give them a little longer life.

Really good. Still love the product and it still would be good if it were a little more durable. But Florida is really tough on things.

I have used utility trailers for over 30 years for occasional needs, and usually have used a truck or SUV with the trailers. I now have a very small Japanese sedan and built a folding trailer to be towed by the small car. The trailer hitch, tongue and coupler are low to the ground, so sparks from an accidentally dragging chain is now a big concern in drought conditions.
This chain holder is inexpensive, works exactly as advertised, and easily does the job it was made to do. An excellent buy from Etrailer.
I have only used the chain holder once to move the trailer to storage, but it was easy to install and easy to use. It appears to work just as you would expect. The 6" drop down hitch is a bit longer (sticks out of the receiver further) than I would have expected. So far I don't know if it creates any issues, but it worked fine when I moved the trailer.
More order shipped faster than I expected and arrived very quickly. So far I have only had great service from these guys.
The product was delivered to me in just a few days in great shape. I could not wait that long so I made one myself in just a few minutes out of a heavy semi-truck tube.
Works great. I will install the FA82-00-3065 when the one I made becomes unusable.
I have the 2 new chain holders sized and ready to install on my Anderson 3350 2 5/16 ball. the Anderson 3350 is a little different set-up as you can see if you go to the Anderson site.
Believe it will do just fine.

I have had one of these on my rig for quite a while. It really works well and gives me peice of mind when hauling my horse. My friend, who has a big farm and uses her rig at least once a week, noticed mine and asked about it. I surprised her with it yesterday and she was so excited that she put it right on her hitch. Her hitch is much larger than mine so it took both of us to get on but once we did she was pleased as punch. It's a great gadget to keep your chains from dragging on the ground and keeps them neat.

So far...so excellent! Exactly as advertised. I have taken two trips so far and it works! What a great and economical way to fix dragging chains. I had just purchased a new trailer and on the way home from the dealer and the chains were ruined from dragging the ground. Now, it's not a problem!
Used Product for 10 Years, worked well to control toe chains for both large (24 Ft Trailers and tractor trailer. This was a replacement.
This is way easier than replacing the chains because they drag. This is used on a trailier hauled by the scout leaders of out troop. Some vehicles need longer chains for the set up and this helps the drivers that don't need the extra length.
Great for keeping long safety chains off the ground. Sometimes simple products are the best products.

This is a great way to keep your chains from dragging. Just the other day I hadn't noticed that one of my chains had come loose on one end until I arrived at my destiination, exited my vehicle then smelled a burning smell. The chain had been dragging for several miles on the highway. With one of these, even if it had come loose, it wouldn't have dragged.
Fit as advertised, easy to install, stays flexible even in frigid temps. and most importantly keeps the chains off the ground
