Now this white remote control is going to replace the digital remote control for your Fan-Tastic Vent roof vent with 12V fan and powered lift. And for your reference, I am including our item number for that roof vent with fan on your screen. And this is going to allow you to conveniently control the temperature and operate the fan.
So you can get a good look there of everything that this remote is going to help you control. And as you can see, batteries are included. And also the mount to mount this in. I do want to point out that this does not include the screws to install this. So just be aware of that.

White color.We have used e-trailer in the past and always had great customer service, shipments that are on time (when products are in stock) the 4 items we've purchased were in stock. If things aren't in stock it certainly isn't the fault of e-tralier. We are experiencing shortages everywhere these days. We highly recommend the folks at e-trailer for your RV, camping, TT needs.
Robyn - 07/02/2023While this unit is not compatible with older models of remotely controlled vent fans, it will serve as a backup for the replacement unit installed in the fan housing. I was disappointed that the older model is no longer supported.
I’m always suspicious of replacement items; usually they don’t work like the original. NOT THE CASE IN THIS ITEM. Very pleasantly surprised. Work from the get go. etrailer is the best. Not much to say. It's exactly what I needed and works flawlessly. I bought the RV used and it didn't come with this, so I wasn't sure if it would work, but it's perfect.

Honestly, we read online that this is a replacement for our very old controller for our 2007 motorhome fantastic fan, but despite reading all the instructions, we cannot program it. Unsure what is going on. If you have any hints, please let us know. We read everything you posted!

Sierra K - 08/16/2021I purchased the remote for two purposes. The main use is a second remote for my Fantastic Vent for convenience in my camper. The second purpose is to have an extra remote while camping should my primary remote break or get lost since the fan only functions with a remote. After a year of use and many thousand miles travelled, I am very pleased with my purchase.
Unfortunately my motor home with the Fan Tastic Vents is in Oregon for some repairs.
I will not get back there until late August. I will not know until that time if the remote controls purchased to replace the old models will, in fact, be programmable with my 2011 Vent 6000 Series Models (?). That said, everything Moly E. at etrailer.com stated about the service and the product has been perfect. Thank You!
The bathroom fan in the motorhome quit working about a year ago. Several technicians wanted to replace the entire unit $$$ when all it needed was a replacement controller $$. Makes one wonder how adept these RV dealerships really are at repair or replace. A bathroom fan is not a luxury; it's a necessity!

This product did not come with a single sentence of instruction on how to set-up or program the remote. I attempted to use the advice of their technical advisor from their website and that was very vague did not work either. Now I'm searching elsewhere more answers.
