Today we're going to take a look at the replacement OEM Bolt Lock for the Extang Encore Hard Tonneau Cover, manufactured after 2015.This part will replace the OEM Bolt Lock for your Extang Encore Hard Tonneau Cover for GMC trucks manufactured 2015 or later.This does use the bolt, B-O-L-T, one key technology that will let you use your vehicles ignition key to lock and unlock the Tonneau cover.It includes everything laid out here on the table. The bolt lock assembly, the upper plastic bezel with the gasket attached. The lower plastic bezel. All the hardware needed and a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how to install these parts.And again, this is for a quantity of one replacement lock. Replaces the OEM BOLT lock for your Extang EnCore hard tonneau cover for GMC trucks manufactured 2015 or later (EX62350, EX62355, EX62445, EX62450, EX62455, EX62456, EX62457, and EX62458).Excellent and well made product to replace your original lock. I bought a 2015 GMC and it came with a Encore solid trifold bed cover but had no key. The locksmith that I took the original lock to was not able to decode it, so I found this product. I strongly suggest this product for anyone who has lost their key to their original and needs a new lock.
My only complaints is that there was some missing hardware (which was not the end of the world, just had to come up with some screws that would work) and the lock coding instructions was not complete. It takes you through the steps to code your lock, but you must remove the yellow snap ring retainer from the cylinder itself to allow the locking piece to function. Again, not a big deal as it works great now. There is also some significant trimming of the bed cover itself that I had to do in order for the new inserts to work, but the product was well worth it.
5 out of 5, would recommend for anyone that needs a replacement lock for their encore bed cover and have a 2015 GMC sierra and newer.
Was missing the screws to put the inside and outside covers together, but other wise good product.
They only reason I am giving a five star is because I fixed the leak with a can of flex seal, the seal did not do it’s job but other then that it is a great product.

I did check with my contacts at Extang and the two screws that hold the lock assembly into the tonneau cover are supposed to be re-used from your existing lock. These two screws are not included in the replacement lock core.
