Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Dutton Lainson Wiring Harness for DC StrongArm SA-Series Electric Winches. This wiring harness is made here in the USA and it allows you to connect an electric winch to your vehicle's battery. It includes a 25 foot long power cable and as you can see here, it has an 80 amp circuit breaker and then an eight foot long ground cable that's also going to replace your load and unload power switch on your winch. And for our demonstration purposes, I do happen to have a StrongArm electric winch with a pulley block, so put it here on the table real quick and on your screen you see the item number of this winch if you want to take a look at it on our website. And so, this is just going to easily plug into the side of the winch.
And then you are going to then have your unload and load function. So, very simple to plug in and very simple to use. Let me go ahead and get this winch off of the table. Now this wiring harness is constructed of eight gauge wire and not only does this work with the winch there that I had on this table, but it will fit and work with those other models there that you see on your screen of those StrongArm winches. So because this is a direct replacement from Dutton Lainson, you can have the confidence that's gonna work with those StrongArm winches.
