22354 Plastic Top Cap for D-L Jacks by Dutton-Lainson Model 6601

Today were going to review part number DL22354. This is the Dutton Lainson replacement trailer jack cap. This plastic top cap is designed to fit on the Dutton Lainson 3400 and 6400 series jacks. Basically I have an example here. Right here is the 3400 design, and what you would want to do to replace the cap is normally you would just unscrew the Phillips screw right there. You can pull the black plastic cap off and then to actually replace it, the replacement cap if you can see here has some threads on it.
Basically what you would do is just tap this cap down into it and it will give it a pressed fit into the cap so actually the screw thats used on the replacement cap or the screw thats used on the original cap is not really needed when you use this replacement cap. That should do it for review of part number DL22354.

The Replacement Trailer Jack Cap for Dutton-Lainson Jacks was a excellent fit. The cap was used on another brand name jack but was right on as describe in the listing.
I now have a trailer jack that is rain and weather tight.
Etrailer is a great company to get all your trailer parts and accessories.
I bought this cap after trying several others I bought from other sites with inaccurate dimensions. This was a tight fit for my trailer jack tube with a 1.72 inch inside diameter, but with a little persuasion and a hammer, it went in and likely won't fall out like the original.
Note that I don't know the brand/model of my jack, I just measured the inside diameter and etrailer tech support found me the appropriate cap. Thanks for your support!
Perfect fit for the top of my trailer tongue jack.
Fits perfectly into the trailer jack top hole, went in with a slight resistance so it likely will not fall out. Another issue fixed that the previous boat owner neglected!
