Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this Demotic Floor Flange Adapter Kit. This is going to allow you to convert your RV or boat's four bolt flange to a two bolt flange, so you can install a toilet that mounts using just two bolts. This kit does include the mounting flange adapter here, as well as a flange surround mounting base and eight of these number 12 by one and a half inch mounting screws. They do include very detailed instructions to walk you through step-by-step how to get this all installed to switch out.

But, just a quick overview, you are going to remove two of your four flange bolts, and you'll use those other two to help align the adapter, and then you'll drill holes to get your mounting screws put in. Once everything is mounted in place, you will put your two bolts for your toilet through the appropriate bolt holes, whichever aligned with your toilet and orientation of your bathroom there. And then your base, your flange surround mounting base is going to fit around that. So, this is really just there to help to fill that gap that would be underneath your toilet, so that it's going to be nice and solid for you. You really are only going to see this front edge once your toilet is mounted in place, but it's also going to help make sure that your toilet's not wobbly, just sitting on that adapter there.

This is the bone color. There's also a white option. So, depending on what color your toilet is, will determine which one you're wanting to get. If your toilet is more of a bone or kind of off-white cream color, this will probably work better for you. If your toilet is a very stark white, that would probably be the better option that you see on the screen there.

But, very simple design, very straightforward instructions, easy to follow. Our flange outer diameter is right at seven inches. Our inner diameter is four and a half inches. So, it's going to fit right in place of the original, should be very easy to get that switched out for you. And then, our mounting base is right about thirteen and three quarters of an inch wide and long.

And, it's going to have a cutout of about seven and one eighth of an inch. So, our flange is going to fit in there, work out really well for us. So, if you do currently have a four bolt flange, and you're wanting to get a toilet that's got that two bolt system, this is going to be a great kit for you.
