  The part of the Titan Swing-Away Actuator T4839120 that actually pivots is 21-1/2" long. You can cut off as much of your trailer tongue as you like and since the actuator pitots 21-1/2", that's how much space you will save, minus whatever you have remaining of your trailer tongue that you did NOT cut off. This coupler will fit a 3x3 tongue using 2 of the spacer # T4842100. The pivot length is 21-1/2 inches long. But if you are looking for a 2 to 3 foot extension to the tongue you have, you will need to have a qualified welder in a machine shop of shop that works on trailers fabricate an extension for you.
