Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this replacement master cylinder assembly for the Titan Model 6 Disc Brake Actuators. Now this master cylinder is for a surge brake system. Helps pressurize the brake fluid before it enters the brake line. This is designed to work with the Titan Model 6 brake actuators.
Works on disc brake models only because of the higher 1500 PSI pressure. Drum brakes only use a lower 1000 PSI pressure master cylinder. Now this part does include the master cylinder itself with the push rod assembly right back here. And then on top is the diaphragm type cap, put your brake fluid in there. Now the mounting hardware to install this is not included.
But that should do it for the review on the replacement master cylinder assembly for the Titan Model 6 Disc Brake Actuators.

Product arrived early. I have it installed but haven't tested yet. Bracket came without tapped holes but was able to figure out online that the bolts are self tapping. I'd suggest putting a note in the package the the bolts are self tapping to avoid confusion.

Master cylinder was as per the detail. The only difference from original was that the mounting points on the original one were tapped with a thread which saved you having to take the whole surge actuator off the draw bar. It still works and fit perfectly.

- If Model 6 Surge-O-Matic is Leaking Fluid Near Coupler Does Master Cylinder Need to be ReplacedIt very well could be the master cylinder assembly. To replace the master cylinder on your Surge-O-Matic Model 6 you would need the part # T1777405. Before replacing the unit though I would try taking your actuator apart to make sure that all of the connections are secure. It could be that the connections aren't quite secure which would result in all of the fluid you are seeing.
