Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Dexter left-hand inner Budd type dual wheel lug nut for a quantity of one. Now, this is a left-hand thread dual steel wheel lug nut. If you notice, you could look at the top, it is stamped L to let you know it's a left-hand thread. This is made of a high-quality steel, has a yellow zinc-plated finish to resist corrosion. And this is the inner Budd type wheel used on a stud piloted design setup.
This is designed to be used with steel wheels. The standard length on this for mounting your steel inner wheel with the steel outer wheel is 2-7/30 seconds of an inch length. And when you go to install this, what you'll do is install your inner wheel onto the hub, and then you'll use this inner nut right here to hold that inner wheel to the hub and then install your outer wheel onto this inner nut. And then use the outer cap nut on it to hold the outer wheel to this stud. As we mentioned, this fits the driver's side with the left-hand threads.
The size of the threads in inches, the inner portion right here, is 3/4 inch by 16 threads per inch, and the outer portion is 1-1/8 inch thread or 1-1/8 inch by 16 threads per inch for the outside. But that should do it for a look at this Dexter left-hand inner Budd type dual wheel lug nut.

For steel wheels.Left hand thread, BUDD lugnuts for inside wheel on large dump trucks are not easy to find in rural Texas. Arts supply could not find them so I tried e-trailer and there they were...good price and I had them in 2 days with economy shipping. A big plus with this company, e-trailer, is they kept me informed at each step of my order. This is not my first purchase from them and it won't be my last.
