Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Dexter Uni Servo hydraulic left hand trailer brake assembly with parking brake lever. Now this is for one left hand or driver's side assembly for your trailer. And this hydraulic drum brake assembly is designed for use with a surge type trailer brake actuator. The parking brake lever is included, and a manual parking brake can be added with the optional kit, that is sold separately. You can find that on our website using item number T2385200.
That is if your trailer is not already equipped with a manual parking brake. Now this is a Uni Servo style, so it uses a single plunger that delivers around 20% braking when in reverse. This is a black painted drum brake assembly. As you can see with the pads fully bonded to the shoes, that are not riveted, so that's gonna provide longer life and more braking torque. The diameter measuring from one edge of the pad to the other straight across is gonna be 12 inches.
And then the width, measuring the actual width of the pad, we're sitting at two inches. Now, this is designed to fit 14 1/2, 15 or 16 inch wheels. And the mounting flange bolt that you see right here, is going to be five on 3 7/8 inches. The mounting bolts are sold separately, and the center hole diameter is 3 1/4 inches. And this assembly is designed for axles with a rating up to 7,000 pounds.
Now, again this is the left hand, or the driver's side assembly. If you are interested in the right hand, or the passenger side assembly, you can find that on our website using item number T2351200. Or if you would like both, the left and the right hand assemblies, you can find that as a kit using item number T2351300-200.
