Video Transcript for Comprehensive Review: Derale Electric Fan Mount Kit with Plastic Rods and Pads

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Derale Electric Fan Mount Kit with plastic rods and pads. This is going to be an easy way to get your Derale Electric Radiator Fan mounted up. We'll get our four rods, the foot pads or mounting feet and then our four pads, and our four buttons. Those are going to be these little connecting guys. So that'll go on there and I'm not going to press it all the way in because it works kind of like a zip tie. So when you push that in you can't take it back off without really prying out on the middle teeth of that button.

So that helps to hold it securely in place.You just push in until it gets to the narrowness that you need to hold your fans securely in place. So we get four of each of those components. Our pads are an inch by an inch wide on either side. And these little mounting feet will go on the side of your fan. I have one here just to show you what that's going to look like.

So these little slots on either side, we can place those in the slot, push them down and then the rods go through that. And that goes through your radiator and then the pad and the button go on next.So again, keeps everything nice and tight. Easy way to install it, no real modifications that you're making to your vehicle. Easy to take off if you ever decide to remove that fan. So it shouldn't cause any issues or damage down the road.

Now as far as the measurements, take one of our rods here. Measures about 9" long. The longest that we can use that really where the teeth start on that rod is about at 8-1/4". It's about as much space as you'll get out of those. Overall it measures just fairly over 9" long.

The little grooved end, that little circle part is about 3/4" in diameter.Again our pad's an inch by an inch. And the buttons are about 7/8" in diameter. The pads are about a 1/4" thick. So just some references points there to let you know how big those are going to be.
