Control the electric radiator fan with this automatic thermostat switch. When fluid temperatures exceed 190 degrees, the fan turns on to provide more cooling. If the temp drops to 175 degrees, the fan stops, saving power. The temp sensor arrived on the date promised. Following the provided instructions, I installed the sensor and fired up the engine for warm-up. Right on schedule when the oil temp reached 190*F the cooling fan kicked on cooling the oil. I have read reviews on this sensor saying construction was inferior that similar products. My opinion is, if reason able care is exercised, this sensor should work for many years. I give it a 5 star rating..
Used this radiator fan switch on a 1980 Honda CX500D motorcycle. It works fine with Ducati electric fan installed.
Product was fine since it is from Derale, but shipping and customer service from etrailer is horrible.
I used this switch to replace an OE switch in a older Polaris Magnum. Worked like a champ so far!! Thanks etrailer for the great price.
Exactly as described! The shipping was fast and easy. I couldn't be happier.
Excellent quality!! USA made.
Just as it was advertised
