Today we're going to take a look at the Demco Hijacker Premier Series custom mounting brackets for fifth wheel above bed base rails. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2001 to 2010 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty Series Trucks with either the six and a half foot bed or the eight foot bed. Now on a custom fit part I always like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide. Put your year and model vehicle in there and it will show you if this part will work for your application. These installation brackets will mount beneath you truck bed and they provide the attachment points for your fifth wheel rails. Now the base rails we do sell separately on our website.
It's part number DM6071. The rails is what will sit in your truck bed and allow installation of your fifth wheel trailer hitch. These custom fit brackets are designed to mount to the outside of the frame using existing holes in the vehicle's frame. This will help minimize drilling, reduces installation time, and it's designed to avoid any known obstacles along your specific vehicle's frame. Also on these brackets, you'll notice they are marked driver's side.
And on this one, if we flip it, you can see passenger's side to let you know which position to put these in. These parts are a sturdy steel construction. They have a nice black powder coat finish over them to help resist corrosion. All the installation hardware is included, even a nice set of detailed instructions that will describe how to install it, and it even shows you pictures of how to install it. These parts are made in the USA, but that should do it for the review on the DEMCO Hijacker Premier Series custom mounting brackets for fifth wheel above bed base rails.

Got it partially installed on my truck 'is going to work out well!
I haven't done the install yet but will advise as soon as I do.
