Although I haven't utilized the products they appear what I ordered. The shipping was free, but took quite awhile to arrive... fortunately the electrical items to wire my trailer were not required in a real timely manner. I am excited to eventually get m;y lights and brakes wired on my custom trailer. I will befurther reviewing the helpful instructions when ready. Should be amazing, am excited.

  • Why Do Trailer Lights Flicker When Hitting Bumps
In order to fix the issue with your lights flickering you will want to pick a good spot on the trailer frame near the coupler and then run a ground wire from each of the lights as well as the trailer connector to this point. If you need to extend the wires you can use part # DW02359-1 and part # DW05744-5. Once you find a good ground point, sand the surface down, twist the wires together after you have removed part of the jacket, and then attach it to the sanded surface with part # DW05741-1...

  • How to Create an Electrical Grounding Plate on DIY Truckbed Camper for Running Lights
The short answer to your question is, no. You're going to be best served by running your ground wires together and grounding them at a single point on the trailer using a ring terminal like the # DW05705-1 and a junction box like # 38656. Since aluminum not is a great conductor of electricity, that wouldn't be a good choice to create your grounding plate- if you can ground it to steel instead that would be optimal. If you need wiring to run all these grounds together you can use 16 gauge...

  • Troubleshooting Brake Lights Not Working On Trailer With New LED Lights
Since you verified that the 7-way connector installed on your 2005 Nissan Frontier Diesel is working properly, and only the brake lights are not working it sounds like there is a bad ground which can cause all sorts of weird issues. If your brake lights have a ground wire to them, I recommend checking that the ground securely attached to the frame and that there is no corrosion or rust that would cause a bad connection. If the trailer has a tilt bed, folding tongue, or is aluminum running...

  • Can MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent W/ 12V Fan Replace Standard Roof Vent On 1998 Casita Spirit Deluxe
The MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Manual Lift - 10 Speed - White # MA00-04000K you were looking at will require the roof of your 1998 Casita Spirit Deluxe to be 2"-6-1/2" thick, and will require a 14" x 14" opening. If you find that your roof is not quite thick enough you can use lumber to frame out the opening to add thickness. There is no reason the # MA00-04000K will not work for your camper, but you will need to add a 12v power wire and ground wire from your...

  • Can RV Vent Hook up to Existing Wiring
Vent fans are two-wire designs so they are much less complicated than air conditioning units. They only have a 12 volt wire and ground wire so you just need to be able to attach the 12 volt to a power source and have a good ground and that's all there is to it. To install them you will need the Roof Vent Installation Kit # 344270KITW and for extra wire if needed the 16-Gauge # DW02359-1, which is sold by the foot. For fans, so long as you have the standard 14" x 14" opening, which you...

In 10 gauge we only have the wire in red like part # DW02508-1 or blue like part # 10-1-1 but I think what you'd really be best served with is the 7-way upgrade kit part # e99011 which comes with a 7-way and junction box and then for the wiring to run from the box to the trailer wiring you'd want the # DW04914-1 which is sold by the foot and uses the standard...

  • How To Run Grounds for Lights on an Aluminum Frame Trailer
It sounds like you may be wondering how to attach the grounds on your trailer because it has an aluminum frame which you have either read or experienced issues with. If that is the case then I recommend you first use a junction box like the Pollak 10-Terminal Junction Box part # PK52248. You can then use the wire you need inside of them as needed. The wires that run to the battery are most likely 10 gauge like # 10-1-1. The remaining wire is probably a 16 gauge like # DW02359-1.
