Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at this DMAX two-foot long braided hydraulic brake hose. This flexible (hose thudding softly) braided brake line acts as part of a trailer's hydraulic braking system. It connects your hydraulic brake actuator to your trailer brakes when used with additional lines and fittings, which are sold separately. And the flexible design is going to make this hose perfect for use with your foldaway trailer tongues, disc brakes, and torsion axles. This braided stainless steel hose has a Teflon core that withstands pressure better than rubber, so your brakes are more responsive, and it will respond better to different temperatures than rubber, which can expand due to heat, and it's less likely to get a puncture from debris. Now, as you can see here, we have these stainless steel male inverted flare fittings on either ends.
They are three sixteenths of an inch, and they're going to do a great job of resisting corrosion. They are stronger than brass fittings to reduce splitting. So, this is going to be ideal for your boat trailer. And the stainless steel hose does meet the Department of Transportation Standards. And as I mentioned, this is 2 feet 24 inches long from end to end.
(hose swishing) Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today, I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
