Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. Today, we'll be taking a look at the quick coupler for your Dahon folding bikes. So this allows you to use the valet truss in order to carry your different Dahon accessories. So we have the basket here, and this helps with making it quick and easy to remove or pop on your cargo accessories. When used with a quick coupler, notice how you just need to pull on this, and then you can disengage your accessory and pop it right out.
Now, remember you do have to exert a little bit of force to put your accessories into place, but once they're on, they're on nice and secure, and they're not popping off anytime soon. Just make sure that you install everything properly. Let's take a look at that process. So we have the quick coupler and this includes four bolts, but it does not include the Allen key, so try to make sure to get a small one to match. This is made of fiberglass and a nylon, so it's very lightweight, and this pairs with your valet truss which is made of aluminum.
So all of this is lightweight, but also sturdy because you need them to be durable enough to carry your cargo. So this installs to your bag or your basket, so I'll just guide you through that process. So taking a look at the pieces, notice that one has the nuts for your bolts, the other has the connection for your coupler. So the coupler connection for the valet truss is gonna go on the back of your bag or your basket, and the one with the nuts is gonna go into the front. So just attach the bolts through the back and that's gonna pop in through the front, and then you're gonna use that to secure that front plate.
Once you've tightened all four bolts down with your hex wrench, you just need to pop this onto your valet truss, and that's it. You're ready to go. So this is all nice and secure. You can definitely leave this on on your basket or your bag. If you multiples, then go ahead and get multiples of the quick coupler as well.
