Today we're going to be taking a look at the rubber cover for 00:00:06 trailer hitches, this is from Curt. This rubber ball hole cover is going to fit in the bed of your truck when you're not using your under bed gooseneck hitch. It's going to keep dirt and grime out of the ball hole, the rubber cover is going to fit a variety of applications, I want to go over a few measurements to see if it will work for you. The outer diameter, so measuring from this point here to this point here, that is going to give us a measurement of right at 3-1/4". The inner diameter, so from this point here to this point here, that's going to measure 2-1/4". Then it's going to have these ridges along this outer edge, that's really going to help form a tight fit inside the ball hole.
The depth of the leg, so I'm measuring the depth of this piece right here, looks like it's going to measure right around 9/16" or 5/8". Then the lip, measuring this portion right here, that looks like it's going to measure about the same 9/16" to 1/2". That's going to do it for today's look at the rubber cover under bed gooseneck trailers hitches from Curt. .

This worked just fine as a replacement for the goose neck hole plug that came with my factory installed 5th-wheel and gooseneck hitch system on my Ford F-250.

I purchased this cover to plug a hole in the side of the bed made by the previous owner for a gooseneck trailer electrical plug. Works great!
Nice to have the cap for the ball hole. I take the ball off the truck often when I haul firewood, hay, etc. and the cover really helps to keep debris and water/snow/ice out of the ball seat.
It was an awkward fit. Barley fit in the whole and looked pretty bad. We decided to put a new step pad on the bumper. I don’t think this cost is enough to ship back but definitely would never order this piece again.
This product is made of a nice thick rubber that should last a very long time. Good tight fit, should not have any problems with this coming out. The lip is a bit smaller than I was hoping, however I am using this to fill in the 2 1/4" hole in my Trailer coupler as I moved my Jack back to utilize the tailgate on my truck (at least open it).

thought it might fit my blue ox gooseneck hitch but it didn't too small wish they made one that would fit I'm sure it would be really nice for the curt hitch, the quality of the product seemed good
