Hi, everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today, we're taking a look at Coghlan's tarp clips. If you are looking for clips to secure your tarp or even your tent, these might be the clips that you are looking for. Let's take a closer look at them. These clips are made out of a nylon resin material, which makes them very durable, lightweight, and strong.

And they have a nice mechanism here that will assure you that whatever it is holding onto will not slip. And that will hold your tent or your tarp in place. You don't have to worry about it becoming loose. I don't have a tarp with me in my studio today, but I was able to get a black plastic trash bag, just to kinda give you an idea of how these work. And so, on this clip, you would just slide what I'm calling the grip down from the base, and put in your tent or your tarp.

And then, you would just slide that grip over the base until it locks in. And the more that more weight that is put on this clip, the more secure it will become. And so, I'm gonna just tighten this up here a little bit more. Now, on plastic, it might potentially rip this a little bit because of the grip. But it's on a tarp or a tent.

That's gonna hold it secure, and you're not gonna have to worry about it damaging. Let me give ya some ideas of measurements here of these clips. And let's begin by looking at the overall length. Now, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna remove this grip, just to kinda give you a little more of an idea of the base length. And the base length, we are sitting right about little under three inches, two and seven eighths inches long.

And then the width, when you're sitting about one and a quarter inch wide. And then the thickness, you're sitting right at about three eighths inches thick. And then, the inside diameter of that hole, I line that up perfectly. I say we're sitting right at about three eighths inches in that diameter of the hole there. Now, looking at the slide on grip, and we'll take a look at the length here. It looks like we're sitting right at about one and a half inches long on the length. And then, on the width, I think we're sitting about the same. The width, about an inch and a half from the width. And then, in regards to the thickness at its widest point, about three quarters inch on the thickness. So, that's gonna conclude our look today at Coghlan's tarp clips.
