Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today we are looking at Coghlan's water bottle holder with shoulder strap. If you we're looking for a water bottle carrier to take along on your hikes or on your walks or while backpacking, and you're looking for something to keep your water bottle easy to access while you're walking, this might be an item for you to consider. Let's take a closer look at it, as you can see, these do have a hook and loop or "Velcro" straps on this carrier that will accommodate a variety of different sizes of your water bottle or your drinking bottle. This also has a quick release buckle that allows you to easily remove the shoulder strap or to use to attach to your backpack.
If you choose to carry it that way. Speaking of the shoulder strap, it is adjustable length, and I have it expanded or extended right now to its fullest length, but that is adjustable. So that's a nice feature of this particular carrier. So this does accommodate many different size of bottles. And I just have this one here to demonstrate it's probably a little bit on the shorter side, shorter size than what is intended for this particular carrier.
But I just wanted to show you that this can be used for a bottle of this size, the straps accommodate this bottle and will hold it secure. So let me take a wider view of this. And once you have your bottle secured in this carrier, the idea is you keep it in here during your walk or your hike. And like I said, you can either attach it to a pack or to your shoulder like this. And then when you're wanting a drink, just remove it, take the lid off, and you drink right from the carrier.
You don't remove it from the carrier while it's holding it secure. Just a couple of things to take a closer look at here. I'm going to remove the bottle just to show you how to do that. So you just reverse the steps. And then let me give you some measurements while we're looking at this, I'm going to measure the depth of this carrier just by itself.
And I'm going to be starting here from the quick release. So, from the quick release buckle, down to its most extended point in the carrier, we're sitting right at about 10 inches deep, 10 inches deep on just the carrier. And then for the straps, there are full extension while still fastened with these hook and loop fasteners. We're sitting right at about four inches in diameter. And then the strap when it's fully extended, is sitting at about 16 inches when it is fully extended. Now I think this would probably work really well with a GSI Outdoors Microlite insulated water bottle. That's a reusable water bottle. And based on the measurements, I think it would work really well with something like this. Well, this concludes our look at Coghlan's water bottle holder with shoulder strap. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me today..
Great product, reasonable price. Fully adjustable; see video on website. I've got mine set up for quick draw to spray floor cleaner while mopping. Very clever design. Shoulder strap works well, also adjustable.
