Need to mount your CargoBuckle G3 ratchets off of your trailer's frame or position the ratchets around other items on the frame? These angled, universal mounting brackets are for you. Includes 2 brackets and mounting hardware.
Features:
Specs:
These angled brackets help you to position your CargoBuckle G3 tie-downs around other items on your trailer and position the tie-downs off of your trailer's floor and walls, making the ratchets easier to access and use.
Note: Tie-downs should always be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The item being tied down must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using tie-downs with a WLL of 1,500 pounds each to tie down a load weighing 3,000 pounds, then you need at least 2 tie-downs to safely secure the load. To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the tie-down, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load.

If you're using some transom straps for your trailer whether is for a boat, motorcycle, some equipment, regardless sometimes you just need a little bit better an angle and a little bit of space so it's not gonna rub on your equipment. And this 45 degree bracket for your CargoBuckle G3 Ratchet Straps is going to solve that problem. If you're hauling some mowing equipment if you are just heading out to a job site and your ratchet straps are the easiest to access or you just need a little bit extra space so it's not gonna rub on your equipment. This bracket's definitely gonna help you out. We do wanna pair this up with the right strap because the working load limit of the bracket is gonna be 833 pounds. And the brake strength of it is gonna be 2,500 pounds.
And that is per bracket. It's gonna be made of steel it has a nice powder coated finish. So for my boat trailer I don't have to worry about it rusting away over time. There really isn't a whole lot to this product. Honestly, the only thing about it is it's going to give you about a 45 degree angle to help you access your straps a little bit better.
All the hardware is included. So all we want to do now is just show you how we got these installed. First, find the place to mount it and then the next thing we need to figure out is exactly what side is gonna go towards a trailer and what side is gonna go towards our strap. So we have the longer piece here. This is going to be up against our strap and then the shorter side is gonna be up against our trailer.
So what we're gonna do is we're gonna take our hardware which is included. We're gonna put this through like this. We're gonna have a washer which is gonna be bent one way. So we want it to be like this. So when we tighten it down it's gonna help lock it into place and we can get this into place and we can go ahead and tighten it down.
On the bolt head side that's gonna be a 16 millimeter. And then on the other side it's gonna be an 18 millimeter socket. I like to get it down pretty much close to where I want it. And then we could angle it up to where we think we're gonna need it and then tighten it down. There we go. And now we can install our strap. There we go. You might need to make a couple of minor adjustments and then tighten it all back down. But the whole goal with this for my situation was just to get this strap to where it's not rubbing on the side of my boat. And with that little bit of angle it solved my problem. This simple little thing is going to make it a lot easier and better for my equipment. And that's pretty much it for a look at the bracket for your CargoBuckle G3 Ratchet Straps..

Need to mount your CargoBuckle G3 ratchets off of your trailer's frame or position the ratchets around other items on the frame? These angled, universal mounting brackets are for you. Includes 2 brackets and mounting hardware.I love my Cargo Buckles. It makes it a snap to tie down our RZR. I try to keep them covered from the sun when not in use to prevent sun damage.
Love them. So easy and fast to use. Removed while on trailer over the winter to try and make them last long but love these
These tiedown brackets are just what I needed to stabilize my chopper in its load n lock holder in the trailer. I can use my regular ratcheting straps with these brackets.
Cargo Buckles are the best tie-down. Very easy to install and operate. The best part is they retract automatically when released.
Order was delivered in two days and fit perfectly on my PJ trailer. Tie down is done in just a minute or so.

The Cargo Buckles are still going strong and work great. It is best to keep them covered from the sun when in storage to preven sun damage to the components. Simple less than 5 minute tie down of the back of our RZR.
