Today we're going to be taking a look at the Camco Olympian GM12 Multi-spark Gas Appliance Igniter. The part number on it is CAM57533. This igniter is designed for lighting all manner of gas appliances. As you can see the nozzle has a nice bend to it. That's going to allow us to get into multiple, different spots in multiple locations to make our job easier. It uses a Piezoelectric sparker, this is going to ensure a large and immediate continuous spark, as you can see there. This requires no external electrical connectors. It's powered here in the handle using a C battery.
This is included so you won't have to worry about buying on. Our cover just snaps right back over it. Here in the rear it's got a nice hook that'll allow us to hang it wherever we're going to need it most or just to get it up and out of the way. Right underneath the nozzle here we've also got an automatic light. It's going to come on and in those darker areas or those harder-to-see areas that'll give us the light we need. To show you in action, we'll turn our burner on, put our igniter down there and it works without issue. The built-in micro-light and curved nozzle make tough lighting jobs easy.This is a fairly large lighter to store in a camper draw. It tool 4-5 seconds or more to lite a simple Coleman stove until it quite working. Would not recommend this product.
Just received product..installed battery and it works but havent tried it yet. Quick service. Received a call regarding a back order..really appreciate that. Usually you don't know about a back order until you havent received the item. Will definitely shop with etrailer again!

Glad I purchased..husband is stroke survivor and this makes lighting the oven in our RV so much easier!
I ordered my class V trailer ball mount for my 2500 2015 GMC truck and appreciated the information on the E trailer web site that helped me pick the correct amount of drop. The service was great,my only complaint is it would be nice to know that it was made in China.
The battery compartment is just a little to small. Hard to fit install the battery. Not like my old lighter.
Took a very long time to get it. No notification from etrailer about it. Not typical of my normal experience.
It seemed every time I tried to light the camp grill & stove, the starter was either it was out fuel, or the wind was blowing. No problem with this igniter. No fuel. It’s works by sparking. Similar to a piezo starter. Just pull the trigger and the sparking clicks until you let go of the trigger. We use it when camping. It’s great. I highly recommend it.
Does exactly what it’s intended for - lighting gas appliances. Note that this unit produces continuous sparks when triggered, and does not make or sustain a flame of its own.

That unit lasted about one week, I was so disappointed, should have sent it back but I ended up throwing it in the garbage, this product is junk.
