It also hides and protects your burners or it can be used as a cutting board or a serving tray. Its made out of a durable polyethylene, will not dull knives, and cleans easily with soap and water. Well take our stovetopper and lay it on top of our stove. I do want to show you this backing.
Its a nonskid backing thatll keep the board from sliding around on the grates of your stovetop, so go ahead and lay that down.As you can see, I can put pressure on it and try to move the board, and its not sliding. This board is about 19.5 long by 17 wide and 0.5 high. Itll fit a three and four burner stove. The black color also helps give an attractive look to your kitchen. Great materials, easy to clean, and still looks great after a year of living in my travel trailer full time. And the added counter space is a bonus for days when I don't use the stove.
Solid piece for cutting on and adds a nice addition to the counter space when not using the stove.
This fits perfectly on the top of my stove. I stays put while traveling (the rubber bootom works for this) and makes the stove top useful especially when doing the dishes. I do not use for a cutting board.
Bought for more "counter" space and it is perfect for that. When not in use rest against the back splash out of the way.

I took off our stove grill and then cut this down to make a more flat stove surface. it cuts nicely and the black color goes all the way through so it still looks great.
