Hello, neighbor. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Camco RV insect screen for the Sol-Aire, Coleman, HydroFlame, and Suburban furnace vents. So, folks, this insect screen is gonna install over those RV furnace vents to keep out wasps, birds, rodents, and other pests. Should look something like this when it's installed. It's also gonna prevent damage from bird's nests that interfere with airflow and stuff.
It really is pretty simple to install. You get two included little spring keepers and you get the installation tool. So what you'll do is you'll basically hook this on the inside of this, and then what you'll do is you'll put the tool through the little hole. And then when you're through the hole, what you're gonna be doing is you're gonna actually be going through the little spring keeper and you're gonna go down to the other side of that spring and you'll be able to push in and then twist that keeper with the tool to then put it in place. So I don't know how well you're able to see that, but I can twist that spring keeper there with the tool.
And, again, the tool goes right through the screen itself. Now, there are better instructions and pictures on the back of the box that it comes with, but I just want to kind of give you a heads up on how that installs. It's not hard. Just a little, you know, figuring it out kind of deal. But pretty simple.
Like I said, this will kind of go in through the spring keeper here, match up with that, and then twist and push it up in place to hold it in place. Now, as far as some quick dimensions, overall I was getting 8 5/8 inches long by 4 1/4 inches wide and roughly an inch and a half tall. And again, this is a nice mesh here. It's very, very sturdy. You're not gonna to worry about bugs, bird's nests, and that kind of stuff.

They work great. Easy to install and they keep bugs out of my furnace. I got mud wasps in my furnace once and removing them was a huge job. These screens are an essential item for any rv with a furnace.
