Today we're going to be taking a look at the Camco RV Awning De-Flapper. This is a universal fit design. It's going to hold your RV's awning fabric to the awning frame, which is going to prevent flapping, so it reduces wind noise. It's going to protect the awning from costly rips and tears. The unit's made from a durable nylon construction with UV stablizers so it's going to do a good job at resisting rust, chemicals, and sun damage. Very simple design.
On this side, you're going to have hook-and-loop fasteners. You're going to get 2 clamps with straps with this Part Number. The hook-and-loop fasteners are going to go around the awning frame. You just wrap this around the awning frame, bring it through the hook, strap it to itself. You want to make sure that's nice and tight. On this side, you're going to have a clamp.
You loosen that up. It's got the nice hand knob right there. Easy to operate. Open that up. This is where your awning fabric's going to go in and then you just tighten it down for a secure hold.
These are going to be nice and soft, non-marring grippers. It's going to attach to the awning fabric. You don't have to worry about the pads damaging your awning fabric. It's going to keep it safe. It's not going to do any stains.
It's not going to rip it. It's not going to damage it in any way. These can be used with screen rooms in place. Really nice design. Real quick, I'm just going to give you a measurement. This area, just the width is how much room it's going to take up along the awning fabric, about 2" wide. That's going to do it for today's look at the Camco RV Awning De-Flapper.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I'VE HAD TO REPLACE A VENT COVER. THE REPLACEMENT WENT IN EASY THANKS TO THE INSTALLATION VIDEO.
The product is very nice. I wish the straps were longer only because our awning is not in the best of shape. Gonna work on that. Would say they will work great once we get our awning straight.
These are a must have for your awning, that flapping will really do some damage to your awning not to mention the noise.
It works but my tarp is pretty close the the awning frame so I can not get the deflated strap tight enough. A tarp clip from another store and a bungee cord are working better for me. This would be a good product for most awnings. Mine is a bit unusual.
