Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this CURT replacement trailer breakaway switch cable and pin. This is going to replace the cable and pin for your CURT breakaway switch. So if you are needing to replace that this is gonna be the exact replacement from CURT so you can trust it is going to be compatible. You're not gonna have to worry about fitting it in and compatibility issues. So this is a 48-inch long cable that will connect to your tow vehicle on the one end and then the pin will plug into your breakaway switch on your trailer.
So if your trailer we're to come disconnected it will pull that pin out and apply your brakes on your trailer. - Replacement Breakaway Switcch Key for Curt Breakaway SystemTypically breakaway switch keys, like the Roadmaster # RM-200200-20 you mentioned, are pretty universal so this will likely work, but it hasn't been tested out so I can't confirm this on my end. Instead, I recommend just going with a Curt brand replacement so you know for sure that it will fit. You'll need part # C52020 if you have a Soft Trac I or II, or part # C49BR for any other Curt breakaway switches.
