Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement trunnion spring bar for the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System. This is going to replace one spring bar from your 15,000 lb gross towing weight Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System with active weight control. That part number is C17501. This bar is made from a forged steel construction. It's going to feature a really nice black powder-coated finish, it's going to be very durable as well as highly resistant to rust and corrosion. This end right here is the end where your frame brackets would attach to.
This end over here has the hole pre-drilled through, and that goes into the weight distribution head assembly and secures in place with the pin and the clip that goes over. This unit's going to feature a tongue weight rating of 1,000 lbs, all the way up to 1,500 lbs. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement trunnion spring bar for the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System.

The item was delivered in cardboard box. The box was in excellent shape. However the bar in the box appears to be a used it. The paint on the bar was all scratched up. Unless the item was switched to a different box during shipment then l'm guessing it was shipped by etrailer is this condition. Very dissatisfied with the condition of the product.

The new, longer trunnion bar has eliminated the problem of the bar slipping out of the bracket on tight turns. Am no longer afraid to maneuver in tight places for fear of damage to the hitch system.
