Today we're going to be taking a look at the Replacement CE Smith Heavy Duty Vertical Bunk Bracket. This replaces one damaged CE Smith Heavy Duty 85 Degree Vertical Bunk Bracket on your trailer. It stabilizes one end of the bunk board when used with a 95 Degree Vertical Bunk Bracket. That is sold separately and sold at etrailer.com. This will require half inch Diameter U-Bolt for installation. That's sold separately as well and available at etrailer.com. It's constructed of a rust and corrosion resistant galvanized steel.
It's suitable for salt water exposure. It's made in the USA. With this part number, you're gonna get one bracket. It has the 85 degree mark in the back there. So that way you know which bracket is which. A few measurements to go over real quick.
Starting with the overall width. Going edge to edge this direction, it's going to be able five inches wide. The overall height, that's gonna give us a measurement of about six and three quarters of an inch tall. The distance between the mount holes for the trailer, this would mount to the trailer frame with the u-bolt. These holes are separated apart from one another on center by about three and nine sixteenths of an inch.
Then you're gonna have three bunk board mounting holes. The distance that we have between those center on center, that's gonna measure about one and one sixteenth of an inch apart to one and one eighth of an inch apart. The distance center on center to the two outer holes is about two and three sixteenths of an inch. Then the plate thickness, the unit's made from quarter inch thick steel.
