I went through 3 or 4 of these in a year. They all break. At first I thought maybe I was overtightening them or putting too much stress. I reconfigured things to ensue no stress on them and left the bolt loose. Still broke. I'm moving to galvanized steel.
Brackets fit my optronics lights perfectly. Look sturdy and have no issues mounting.

These look much better than the galvanized versions that I also bought for another application. While I did not buy them for a CE Smith trailer, I was able to make them fit mine easily since they are aluminum.
I recently picked up a utility trailer that has no lights. These brackets are the perfect solution to mounting the light kits on the steel tubes of the trailer, fits the studs on the lights perfectly.
Got my parts right away. Right part. Right fit. Put them on my boat trailer at the brake light assembly.
I used these on a small lawn mower trailer. I had to put new lights on it. These are just what I needed.

As a light bracket it does what it is supposed to do. I like the fact that it is aluminum so it does not require painting to keep from rusting
