Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement CE Smith Heavy Duty Vertical Bunk Bracket. This is going to replace one damaged CE Smith Heavy Duty 90 degree Vertical Bunk Bracket on your trailer. It stabilizes one end of the bunk board when used with an additional bracket. Additional brackets and mounting hardware are sold separately. If you are in need of those you can find everything you need here at etrailer.com. It will use a 1/2 inch diameter U-bolt for installation to the trailer frame. It's also going to feature the three pre-drilled holes on the bracket that's going to let you raise or lower the bunk board during the installation.
And, then you'll need to secure your bunk board vertically on it's side between the bracket's with a 1/2 inch diameter bolt that is sold separately. The unit's constructed of a galvanized steel. It's designed to resist rust and corrosion. It is suitable for salt water exposure. The product is made in the U.S.A. Taking a look at some of the dimensions real quick, starting with the overall width. It's going to measure five inches wide.
Overall height, it's going measure around six inches tall. The distance between the trailer mounting holes on center, these are going to be separated on center apart from one another, that looks to be about three and 9/16 of an inch. And, then these holes are separated apart from one another on center by an inch and a half. So, from this one to this one on center is an inch and a half, from the middle one to this one on center is an inch and a half as well. And then the plate thickness, this is going to use 1/4 inch thick steel. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement CE Smith Heavy Duty Vertical Bunk Bracket..

I never installed the brackets - found an alternate solution. But I am very happy with their quality.
