Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Buyers Products DOT Light Plug. This plug connects to your light to your truck or trailers wiring, it comes with the 3-pin right angle male PL-3 plug on this end. The right angle design feeds the wires out of the side and instead of directly out the back. Then on the other end, we have the stripped wire leads that makes the wires easy to connect to your truck or trailer wiring. It's a three wired design, your white wire's your ground wire, black wire is for power, so this would be used for your tail light function or for a solid strobe pattern. So if you have a strobe light and you want all the LED's to be on and remain on, that's the wire you would use. Your red wire is for positive power as well, but this would be used for your stop and turn signal or for the strobe flash pattern. On the white wire, we have a number 10 ring terminal, so that allows for easy grounding.
You just use a grounding screw to establish a good ground. And then the wires measure around 12" long.So I have a Buyers Products light right here just to show you the type of plug that it fits into. So basically what you do, you take this, you take the pins, you line it up with the connection points right there. Once you have them lined up, push it all the way down until it engages all the way. Creates a really nice tight seal and a really nice fit. That's gonna do it for today's look at the Buyers Products DOT Light Plug..
