Randy: Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at something that's designed to make using your LiftDogg from Buyers just a little bit easier. Essentially we're going to have a plug that we can connect to the side. It's going to give us the connector to plug right in and a nine foot cabled remote, so whether we want to go up or down with our lift, it's going to be really easy to do. Even allow us some mobility so we can get around, make sure everything's moving the way it should be, make sure we're getting everything up nice and stable, so we don't have to worry about anything falling and rolling off, stuff like that.Basically we've got maintenance covers on each side, so we'll use a 5/16 bit driver. We're going to pull out the four screws here.

With those out we can take off the cover here. It gives us access right down into our grease zerks, and this is also where you'll access the area to plug in your remote. Once we have that cover open, take out the little plug there. We can grab our remote base. Now we'll take our plug and just slide that in.

Can you see the two connectors right here They're just going to plug together. I like that. I like that you don't have to worry about any wiring or any splices. Then we can take a couple of little number 10 self tapping screws. Get those run in on each side.

Now we will be ready to operate it either from our key or from our remote, if we need that option. We'll just replace that cover when we're done.Now we'll just plug that in, and we'll be ready to use it. Now I like this option. It allows us some room to get back here further. The buttons are nice, soft touch buttons, but they are waterproof, you can see a completely rubber case there.

So as you're trying to go up or down, don't have to worry about any moisture getting in. Overall, it is a plastic housing box. It's got a little bit of give to it here and there, but you can see how the edges of it kind of go down inside each other.We'll probably use it in the rain here and there. Maybe not too often. I wouldn't be too worried about it. And I do like the high vis aspect. So you're not likely to forget about it. I like how it unplugs from the side so our buttons aren't left out in the weather indefinitely, rust, corrosion, things like that working on them. In this case, when we're not using it, keep it in the seat of the truck, in the floorboard, behind the seat, in the glove box.When we are ready to use it, we just pull it out, plug it in, and we're ready to go. So overall guys, I think if you need a little bit extra mobility when using your LiftDogg, this is going to be the perfect solution. You're going to have it installed in about five minutes, and that's going to be on the maximum side, even after going to find your tools. So they just give you a lot of convenience. Being able to move around up to nine feet, I think it would be a big advantage to you, especially on those tougher jobs.
