The hitch balls are welded to that shank and they are made from steel and they're chromed when it comes to the finishing to resist rust and corrosion.Now this replacement part is a direct replacement for what originally came with your ball mount. It has the one and 7/8 inch ball, the two inch ball and the two and 5/16 inch ball. When using the one and 7/8 inch ball you have a capacity of up to 6,000 pounds.

When using the two inch ball you have a capacity of up to 7,500 pounds and when using the two and 5/16 ball, you have a capacity of up to 10,000 pounds.Placing that back on your ball mounted system is quick and easy.
