In addition to this support plate, I ordered a Bulldog Jack and a foot plate. During my prepurchase research, completely frustrated at the lack of detailed product information available on most sites, I finely landed on etrailer.com. I found all the information I was looking for, and the pricing was the best I had found, and e trailer offered free shipping. I placed the order and recived a follow up thank you email. The following day I received an update of the shipping status along with a tracking number. I recived my package within a week via 3-day shipping. The care given to packaging was amazing they could have sent fine China in the packaging.

I love this place and will order from here again.

Item is as described and fit perfectly around the diameter of my Bulldog Jack. The jack was placed through the center hole against the trailer for marking of the existing mounting holes to the plate. Two holes were drilled at the marks and secured with stainless bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and nuts.

Fantastic. No longer have to worry about having the right size hitch ball or have multiple hitches with different size hitch balls. Now, one hitch and three available hitch balls. One and done!

by:

This product fit perfect, welded and has secured our trailer jack with no additional problems. Etrailer staff made this an easy purchase, very professional with excellent communication skills and follow-up.
We don't hesitate to refer our friends and family to Etrailer because we know how well they will be taken care of.
Thanks again for a job well done!

by:

A bit thinner and a bit smaller footprint than I expected. Fits the Side Wind Bulldog 5000 lb jack just right.

by:

The product was fine but I could not use it because of the construction of the trailer made it difficult to remove the old smaller hole plate without turning the trailer upside down.

by:

Adds the needed support our jack needed... At a good price.

by:

I'm a first time customer here! This is the place I'll be buying from here on out! Very easy to look up the parts I needed and described in detail what I was buying! Fast Shipping!! The jack was easy to install and was exactly what pics showed!!

by:

As advertised and worked great on my trailer upgrade!

by:

J P provided Excellent customer service in helping me determine what products I needed to complete my project. He was very professional and personable, and in fact even did a follow-up call to insure that he had provided the correct items I needed and to double check they were correct. Great job J P!
As I haven't yet installed the items ordered and received yesterday, I can't rate or comment on these items yet... I will be happy to take photos and provide feedback at that time, possibly 2-3 weeks... Regards, J H

  • How Does Bulldog Rack and Gear A-Frame Trailer Jack Mount to a Trailer
The Bulldog rack and gear A-frame jack, # BD165412, mounts to the frame of the trailer behind the coupler. It uses what is essentially a standard bolt pattern. The holes are 3 inches apart on center, see helpful link for pictures. Hardware is not included and I recommend using grade 5 or higher nuts and bolts. You also may need a support plate, # BD003135, which can be welded or bolted to the underside of the trailer frame for added support.

  • What Jack Support Plate Fits Pro A-Frame Jack-Topwind # PSEA20000103
The Bulldog Jack Support Plate # BD003135 that you referenced is the closest fit we have for your Pro Series Jack # PSEA20000103. The outside diameter of the jack is 2-1/4 inches and the plate is 2-1/3 inches, so there will be a tiny bit of play, however, not enough for any consequence.

  • Replacement Electric A-Frame Trailer Jack with 1-7/8 Inch Outer Tube Diameter
I may have a solution for you, however we do not have a trailer jack available that features an outer tube diameter of 1-7/8 inches. The best recommendation I have is to simply install a new bottom support plate like the Bulldog Jack Support Plate # BD003135. The new plate can be either welded or bolted onto the trailer and features a 2-1/3 inch diameter hole for jack tubes, making it much more universal in terms of finding a compatible trailer jack. You can then use an electric tongue...

  • Length of the Outer Tube Below the Mounting Bracket, Pro Series A-Frame Trailer Jack # PS1401000303
The bottom of the outer tube, below the mounting bracket on the Pro Series A-Frame Jack, # PS1401000303, is 3 inches long. This is going to be the shortest distance of any of the A-frame trailer jacks. One option is to remove the bottom plate that is smaller and replace it with one that will fit like # BD003135.

  • Trailer Jack Recommendation for an A-Frame TrailCruiser Trail-Lite 21RBH
The difference between 5-1/2 inches and 5-2/5 inches is 1/10 of an inch and would most likely not make a noticeable difference. However, if you were looking for the absolute shortest retracted distance you would want the Bulldog Round, A-Frame Jack, part # BD155033. I went out into our warehouse and compared this jack with the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack, part # PS1401000303, and found it to be the shorter of the two. • Recommended Replacement Jack For A-Frame Trailer
A majority of the A-frame jacks we offer have a 2-1/4 inch diameter outer tube. Those remain fairly consistent for jacks that range from 750 lbs to 5000 lbs weight capacity. We currently do not offer any jacks with a 1-7/8 inch diameter outer tube. If you decide you would like to replace the attach plate you currently have and install a new jack I recommend part # BD003135 for the support plate that can either be welded or bolted to the trailer frame. The jack I recommend is the Bulldog...

  • Solution for Needing Trailer Jack with Outer Tube Diameter of 1-7/8 inch
I have a solution for you, however we do not have a trailer jack available that features an outer tube diameter of 1-7/8 inches. They just aren't around anymore. The best recommendation I have is to simply install a new bottom support plate like the Bulldog Jack Support Plate # BD003135. We currently have 3 different trailer jack support plates. • Steel Thickness for A-Frame Trailer Jack Support Plates for 2-1/4 Inch Jacks
The A-frame trailer jack support plates for 2-1/4 inch jacks are all approximately 1/8 inches thick. There are some manufacturer tolerances so one might be slightly thicker than the next. And models that are raw steel like # BD003135 are more uniform in size compared to the ones that are powder coated. I have included a link to the options. Not all of them are for 2-1/4 inch jacks and there is also a square one in there but the majority are for 2-1/4 inch round jacks.

  • Which Support Plate Can be Used with Pro Series A-Frame Trailer Jack # PSEA20000103
The outer tube diameter of the Pro Series A-frame Trailer Jack, # PSEA20000103, is 2-1/4 inches, so you will need a support plate with a hole diameter larger than that. The Bulldog Jack Support Plate, # BDSPB50, has a diameter of 2-9/32 inches, slightly larger than the jack tubing, so it will work. And Bulldog Jack Support Plate, # BD003135, is a little larger than that at 2-11/32 inch diameter. Either of these plates should be a good fit.

  • Replacement Jack Solution for Trailer that Needs 1-7/8 inch Diameter Tube Jack
None of the jacks we offer have tube dimensions that would be small enough to fit the bottom support plate on your trailer that is 1-7/8 inches in diameter. The best recommendation I could make would be to install a new bottom support plate like part # BD003135 so that you could use a jack like the etrailer Jack part # TJA-5000S-B that you referenced. For a foot plate you would want part # JF-99.

  • Replacing Swivel Jack on Coleman Fleetwood Pop-Up Trailer
It sounds like an A-Frame jack might be the way to go for you. If the gusset of your trailer tongue A-frame has the jack mounting holes, the Pro Series # PSRV20000103 would work great for you. The jack has a total lift of 14 inches, and a fully retracted mounting bracket height of 9 inches. If your A-frame does not have the mounting hole, you could replace the coupler with one that does. You will want to choose a coupler with the appropriate weight rating and for the same ball size as...
