Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Bulldog wench heavy-duty hoist wireless remote kit. This is going to allow you to operate your hoist without having to use the wired remote that came included with your hoist. So that's going to save you the hassle of having tangled up cables and getting caught on things. It's gonna be very easy to just keep this in your hand and walk around with it.
It's also going to increase the distance that you can be from your hoist and still operate it. So this is going to operate from up to 65 feet away from your hoist. So it's gonna be very convenient for you. It gives you a wider range of use. This is going to work for your Bulldog wench heavy-duty hoist.
The two part numbers that you see on the screen there. And the reason it's so specific of a fit is because this is going to plug right in place of your original wired remote. So it is going to be very specific for a very easy installation. Once you get that plugged in, the control box here can be mounted onto your hoist power unit. They do include hook-and-loop tape here.
So you can just peel off the back of that adhesive backing, stick it on the one side, peel off the other, put it on your power unit, and then it's basically installed. So very, very easy to be used. You could also put in some mounting screws on the side here if you wanted, but they don't include any mounting screws. So that's just a matter of personal preference. But once you get that all installed, you'll be able to use the remote and you'll have your in and out buttons here that will retract and deploy your cable on your hoist.
So it's gonna be very easy to operate. It does have a delayed power on feature to it. So if you have this in your pocket and you accidentally hit a button or something like that it's going to delay that signal so that it's going to minimize the chance of messing up your setup. It does have this lanyard hole here, as you can see, that's going to allow you to attach a lanyard or keep chain, something like that, to help you keep track of where the remote is. But this is gonna be a much more convenient option for you to carry around, get everything set up, and then operate your hoist. You're not gonna have to worry about the limitations of your wired remote. So if you are looking to add that wireless remote capability to your hoist, this is gonna be exactly what you need. That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
