Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Bulldog Winch Heavy-Duty Trailer Winch Wireless Remote Kit. This kit is going to allow you to operate your Bulldog Winch Heavy-Duty Trailer Winch with the wireless remote so that you don't have to worry about your wired remote coming tangled or getting caught on bushes or whatnot, as you're trying to keep your distance. This is going to work up to 65 feet away from your winch, so it is going to do a good job of giving you a wide range of distance that you can travel and still operate your winch so if you are pulling something that's farther away than your wired remote will allow you to travel, you'll be able to use this to make sure that you'll be able to operate your winch still. So this is going to work for the Bulldog Winch Heavy-Duty Trailer Winches, Specifically, the part numbers that you see on the screen there.

The reason it is limited to those is because of the way this is gonna connect. It's gonna plug right in place of your original wired remote. You will put that ground on the post, on your winch. So very easy to get plugged in and then start using your remote, instead of that wired remote. This does have the in and out buttons that are going to retract and deploy the cable that you can see.

It does have this lanyard hole that's going to allow you to attach a lanyard or a key chain or something so that you can make sure you're not gonna misplace the remote. This does have a delayed power-on function. So it's going to prevent accidental use to ensure that you're only operating the winch when you actually want to. You'll just mount the control box to your power unit. They include a hook and loop tape patch here for you, so you can just peel off that backing, stick it on the back there and then put that on your power unit.

You could also mount this with mounting screws although those are not included, you will have to provide those separately. So very, very easy to get this installed on your winch, and it gives you that wireless remote capability for your winch. They do include instructions to help you get everything set up, but very, very simple installation and it gives you that extra ability so that you can travel farther, not have to worry about getting tangled up and that sort of thing.
