Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement roller fairlead for the Bulldog Winch Standard Series winches. This unit protects and guides the wire rope on to the drum of the winch. It's going to help reduce wear on the rope, so it's going to help the rope last longer, keep it from fraying. It doesn't offer any pinch points, so it's going to protect and guide that rope. This is going to fit winch part numbers BDW10041. That's the 8,000-pound winch.
BDW10042. That's the 9,500-pound winch. BDW10043. That's their 12,000-pound winch. The unit's going to feature a really nice thick steel frame. The rollers are steel, and they're going to be zinc plated.
It's going to feature the textured black powder coated finish that matches the finish on the Standard Series winch bodies. The distance between the mounting holes right here, going center on center . Put a ruler across there. Center on center, those are going to measure about 10 inches apart from one another. Overall measurement, going edge to edge this direction, it's going to be about 11 and three-quarters of an inch.
The roller opening measure seven and three-eighths of an inch by seven-eighths of an inch. Edge to edge this direction, this would actually be the height. Just measuring the steel frame there, that's going to give us a measurement of about four and five-eighths of an inch. Then, the overall depth from very back to very front, only has a depth of about three and one-quarter inches. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement roller fairlead for the Bulldog Winch Standard Series winches.

This is a good quality product. To be rated excellent the bearings would need to be steel. We greased it up and it has held up through a season of rough use. I would buy it again.
Just what I needed. The one that came with the winch fell apart! This is much heavier and stronger than that one. Bolted right up and is now ready for my 12,000 lb winch on my trailer. Great price AND shipping too! As usual with etrailer.
The product was a perfect fit for the one that got damaged in a front end collision. I was not able to straighten the original fairlead so had to shop around for a replacement.
Product worked great and plugs fit perfectly. Still working fine after a year of use.
The unit has not been put into use as of yet, but was happy with the receiving and communication of this product.
The part got to me quick and bolted up perfectly and was a very good price , what more can a man want
Handling was exceedingly fast and efficient, and quality of product was very good.
thanks again
