Today we're gonna take a look at the Bulldog winch cable hook stopper for recovery winches. This is made of a polyurethane material, and it comes in yellow. This is an easy way to save our fairlead on our recovery winch, since this is gonna act as kind of a bumper or a stop for our hook and rope between the hook and the fairlead itself. Our hook will come out of the one end, and then this will go up against our fairlead. That again is gonna prevent any damage to our fairlead, but it also stops the motor from pulling on our cable too far whenever we're actually using our winch.It also prevents any rattling as we're going down the road, so we don't have to worry about that hook clanging around. This is gonna keep everything tight if you have the rope pulled in so that it's nice and snug against that fairlead.

Just keeps everything right and tight. This is compatible with wire and synthetic rope. It's a pretty easy install, you just slip the end of the rope, or the wire though the stopper, and then attach your hook to keep it in place. It is made of a yellow polyurethane construction, and it's gonna resist crumbling and decay like you would normally get with something that's made of rubber that can tend to kinda crack and crumble apart over time. This is gonna last for a really long time, and also that yellow color makes it very visible on the front of your vehicle, or wherever you have your winch mounted.It's going to measure 2 3/4 of an inch in diameter, and then it is going to be 1 3/4 of an inch thick.
