Replaces the synthetic rope on your Bulldog Winch off-road winch. It includes a 6' abrasion sleeve on the hook end of the rope and a stainless steel tube thimble for easy hook attachment. 12,000 lbs.
Features:
Specs:
This synthetic rope is made of HMPE fiber that is lightweight yet stronger than steel. This synthetic rope is safer to use than a steel rope because it generates less kinetic energy - and therefore less kickback - if a break occurs. It won't stretch - or creep - over time like steel rope can. It floats, so it's easy to identify when you're rigging in creeks or in mud. And it's also less likely to fray and create sharp strands so it's easier to handle and easier to spool.
A 6' protective sleeve is added at the hook end of the rope for extra protection from abrasions. It also includes a stainless steel tube thimble for easy attachment of your hook.
It is recommended to use this rope with a hand-saver strap (sold separately) and in conjunction with work gloves (sold separately) so that you can safely handle the rope and hook.

Hello, neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at a replacement synthetic winch rope for your bulldog winches. Now folks, this is a 3/8 diameter thick rope. It is a 90 foot long, and it has a breaking strength of 22,000 pounds. Now it is a replacement synthetic rope for the Bulldog winch that are off-road winches, and I'll put those two other numbers on the screen for you. Now, this rope here is made from a synthetic HMPE.
It's very strong. It's strong as steel, yet lightweight and safer to handle. It's gonna withstand harsh UV rays, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. It has a six foot woven polyester lead up here on the protective sleeve to help protect it from abrasions and those kind of thing. And the stainless steel thimble in the eye splice, right over here.
At the end of the rope will let you easily attach this, and like I said, it's made of the HMPE fiber and it's stronger in steel. The other thing about that fiber is it's gonna be a lot safer, because it generates less kinetic energy. So it's gonna have less kick back if it ever breaks or something like that. It won't scratch or creep over time like steel ropes do. And it also floats, believe it or not.
So if you're doing a wet recovery in mud or water or something like that, it's gonna float, which makes it a lot easier to see and handle that kind of stuff. Now, we do recommend that you use, with any winch, any kind of recovery, a hand saver strap that's sold separately in conjunction with a nice pair of leather work gloves or something of that nature. Again, just to protect your hands as far as the gloves. The hand saver strap, and all that kind of stuff is also for your safety. So I just highly recommend those as well.
Well, folks, that's gonna do it for our look at this replacement synthetic rope for the Bulldog winches. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
