Today we're going to be taking a look a part number BDW20059. This is the bulldog winch roller fairlead for Powersport Applications. This is going to be your standard four roller fairlead. This unit's going to allow the cable from your winch to come through this slot right here. It's going to allow the cable to move in and out and side to side very smoothly. The roller is going to reduce wear and strain on the cable which ultimately extends the life of your cable.
You can see how each roller spins freely, nice and smooth operation, which again, is going to extend the life of your cable reducing the wear and strain on the cable itself. These rollers are made from a steel construction, they're going to be zinc plated for protection from rust and corrosion. The frame of this unit is actually made from a steel construction and it's going to be a black powder coat finish. That's also going to do a good job when it comes to resisting rust and corrosion. You see back here, it's going to have the two mount holes. If we take a measurement center on center, the distance between the two mount holes ...
that's going to give us a measurement of right at six and a half inches. These holes are going to have a diameter of three-eights of an inch. All the rollers are going to have the hardware installed on there already and you can easily remove those as needed. If you need to bring your wire rope through but maybe it has a loop on the end or some type of device where the cable secure that won't allow it to go through the roller, all you got to do is remove this at a hardware that attached to that roller on, bring your cable through and then reinstall the roller over your cable. Perfect fit on my 5k badlands winch. Works as well as any other fairlead I've got.
I bought this to put on a small hoist anchored to the floor up through a pulley in the ceiling, then down for lifting objects from the floor. The fair lead was bigger than I needed, so I had to move one of the end rollers toward the center. This required welding on two new roller holders. In the end, the product works to protect my cable, which is what I wanted. Maybe you could design one that has the end rollers where the assembly would be “square “ for smaller applications.

I hoped for a heavier duty Fairlead. The photo did not really show the size of the bolts and length of the rollers or the weight. I am making do with what I you sent.
