Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Blue Ox add-on receiver. This receiver is going to provide a extra 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch receiver on your Blue Ox adjustable drop hitch receiver so you can attach a bike rack or other accessories when you're flat towing with a tow bar. This is going to work with your Blue Ox adjustable receiver models that you see on the screen there. So this is going to be able to be used as an add-on or you can also use it as a replacement for that original receiver, if that original receiver is no longer functioning. Because this is a product from Blue Ox, you can trust it is gonna be compatible with those Blue Ox receivers, adjustable receivers.

You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. If you're using this as an add-on receiver, you wanna make sure that you don't exceed a 500-pound weight rating with your bike racks and all of your gear that you have on there. If you're using that as a replacement for the original receiver, It's gonna have a 10,000 pound weight rating for flat towing and that sort of thing. They do include the set screw here so that you can make sure that you're taken out any play that's in there. Make sure everything is gonna be nice and rattle-free for you.

It's gonna operate just like your original receiver so you've got the pins and clips here. You can pull that out and adjust it to the height that you want it, pass those back through and then get it secured in place so that you've got a very versatile adjustable receiver for your flat-towing experience.
